CDBG - Community Development Block Grant

The Iowa Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program provides grants to cities and counties for a variety of purposes. Examples of eligible projects under the CDBG program include: childcare centers, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, water facilities, and facilities for the handicapped. CDBG has three main community development programs:

Public Facilities (water/sewer)

Community Facilities (childcare centers, handicapped facilities, etc.)

Contingency Fund (Imminent Threat)
